Review of the Ravensburger Window Candy 500 Piece Puzzle

If you're in search of a delightful puzzle to engage your mind and brighten your day, look no further than the 2014 Ravensburger Window Candy 500 Piece Puzzle. This puzzle caught my eye with its unique portrait style, which deviates from traditional designs, offering a refreshing change of pace.

Unique Design

One of the standout features of this puzzle is its charming illustration. The vibrant colors and whimsical details of the candy-themed imagery make it an enjoyable visual experience. Unlike many standard puzzles, this one plays with form and layout, creating a portrait style that feels more dynamic and fun.

Puzzle Difficulty

As I began assembling the puzzle, I found that the border presented a bit more of a challenge than I am typically accustomed to. The side pieces required a keen eye and some patience to fit together, which ultimately added to the overall enjoyment of the process. While I appreciate a good challenge, I’d say that once you get the hang of it, the rest of the pieces come together more smoothly.

Time Taken

My first attempt at completing the puzzle clocked in at 1 hour, 21 minutes, and 25 seconds. While this time may not be a record-breaking speed, it was a fulfilling experience nonetheless. In fact, this was my fourth try at solving this particular puzzle, each attempt yielding a better grasp of the layout and piece placement, which is always rewarding.

Summary

Overall, the Ravensburger Window Candy puzzle is not just a test of patience and skill but also a lovable artwork piece that you may find yourself proud to display once completed. If you're looking for a cute and engaging puzzle to try, this one certainly fits the bill. With a blend of challenge and charm, it’s a great addition to any puzzle enthusiast's collection.
