Hello, Puzzle Enthusiasts!🧩✨

I just wrapped up the latest Speed Puzzling virtual contest on November 9, 2024, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience! This was contest #264, and while the results weren’t quite what I had hoped for, there were plenty of moments that made the day memorable.

Now, let’s talk about the puzzle! I tackled the Masterpieces 300 Piece EZ Grip Jigsaw Puzzle titled "The Best Things in Life," created by the talented artist Dean Russo. Picture this: an adorable dog in a vibrant modern art style! The puzzle includes 300 extra-large pieces and, when completed, measures 18 inches by 24 inches. The thick recycled puzzle board along with the random cut pieces have a good snug fit. Overall, it was a good quality puzzle that added to the fun!

Out of 136 incredible puzzlers, I came in at 81st place with a finishing time of 1 hour and 1 minute. My score? 704! Surprisingly, that puts me in the top 59% of competitors. The mix of excitement and nerves during these contests is always a thrill, and today was no exception!

I’ve been rocking the Green Belt status for a while now, and this milestone really reflects my dedication to solving puzzles. With a Puzzle Piece Placement Proficiency of 8.13 pieces per minute, I’m confident that there’s room for improvement.

But here’s the cherry on top: I proudly snagged the title of the second-best puzzler in Missouri for this contest! 🎉 Moments like these are why I love participating in these events. There’s always room for growth and opportunities to connect with amazing fellow puzzlers.

Even though I enjoyed the challenge, I didn’t quite bring my A-game this time around. I know I can do better, and I’m already looking forward to the next contest, eager to tackle it with renewed determination!

Thank you for joining me on this puzzling journey! Stay tuned for more updates—who knows what exciting adventures are around the corner? Let’s keep puzzling on! 🧩✨
